The Assault Record Release Sept. 27 at Cake Shop will be a night of serious rock proportions. The Assault's newest album, "Greatest Hits," is a seven song blast of wild style, stomping choruses and moody wanderlust. The Assault will play with friends in rock, Dynasty Electric and The Ex-Debutantes.

9:30 p.m. - The Assault
8:30 p.m. - Dynasty Electric
7:30 p.m. - The Ex-Debutantes

The Assault creates a blend of psych-laden, harmonious power rock that has stunned live audiences for five years strong. Upon completion of their 2006 U.S. tour, these three women hunkered down in the studio to record their first full-length LP, which they have boldly titled "Greatest Hits." Out September 2008 on Unicorn City Records.

Dynasty Electric is the collaborative, multi-media project of vocalist Jennifer DeVeau, and avant-garde saxophonist/computer musician Seth Misterka. Formed in Brooklyn, New York in 2002, Dynasty has released a handful of critically-acclaimed recordings, produced music videos, and toured the world from Toronto to Tokyo.

The Ex-Debutantes is a co-ed quartet whose sweet, peppy brand of smart pop threatens to be completely infectious. The Ex-Debutantes have a sound that is sweet and often simple but never without fire. This four piece makes nice awesome and music nice.
