The Artistic Works of J.J Long + WUML 91.5FM's Karma Street May 5, 2010

WUML 91.5FM’S Karma Street appreciates the relationship between music and the arts and has recognized the growing art scene in Lowell. We have extended our invitations to the artists of the community and the New England area to come down, vend, and share their works with all of us. We begin our relationship to the arts with our special guest, J.J. Long, of whom we are honored to work with.

A native of Melrose, MA, J.J. Long is extremely multi-talented and has contributed to the art and music scene for over ten years. His artisitc focus is that of oil painting and being the vocalist for his band “Hellwithin”. Before the band goes on the its U.S. tour, he will be stopping by the WUML 91.5FM radio station for an interview Saturday, May 1st at 10PM. Their first show kicks off at the Blue Shamrock in Lowell, MA, May 21st, and is sure to be a banger. Influenced by the works of Edward Hopper and Salvidor Dali, J.J.’s creativity makes him open to painting any inspiring subject matter, from landscapes to figures. Multi-genre electronic dance music will be provided by the resident DJs and delicious, gourmet, Vietnemese cuisine is available.
