ArtsEmerson: The World On Stage presents The Artist. As silent movie star George Valentin (Jean Dujardin) begins to fade away from the public’s interest in late-1920s Hollywood, young dancer and up-and-comer Peppy Miller (Bérénice Bejo) decides to save him. A delightful story told with humor, romance, elegance…and all without spoken dialogue. A visually stunning film, it won Oscars for Best Picture, Director and Actor in 2012.
