Location: Melvin Weinstein Art Gallery at the Virginia Holocaust Museum (VHM).
The VHM will also have an exhibition of seven sculptures by Linda Gissen entitled “The Art of Remembrance- A Retrospective of the Holocaust.” As Ms. Gissen says in her own words, “for many years I have been given both the privilege and awesome responsibility to portray in sculpture the memories and experiences of Holocaust survivors. As an artist, I have attempted to portray in visual form the history, experiences and the emotions of this time and the devastating impact the Holocaust has had and continues to have.”
