The Erotic Heritage Museum is pleased to welcome The Art of Naked Yoga, a workshop that will focus on this spiritual form of artistic expression taught by David Oliphant,

We believe that the Museum is part of the community and are pleased to offer the space to David and his students. We support the ability that all forms of artistic expression may serve as educational enlightenment. I hope many people will come to celebrate their erotic heritage and practice yoga as it was practiced 2000 years ago.

We invite everyone who supports the Museum to please support our ability to offer such educational opportunities. We look forward to a full spectrum of workshops and classes in the space.

Practicing naked isn't necessarily better than practicing clothed-it's a different experience, and people have different reasons for doing it.

Some folks enjoy the greater physical freedom. Some people want to work on issues of shame and self-image. Some appreciate the clarity of seeing the instructor's body. Some enjoy the taboo-breaking thrill of getting naked. Still others see nudity as a profound spiritual experience-a shedding of armor & barriers, and the social masks we present to the world, an opportunity to shed our judgments of ourselves and each other.

Taking off our clothes-consciously and ritually-is a way to create sacred space that can be intimate and healing. And if you decide to practice naked, you'll discover that this happens quite often.
