The Art Galleries of Sydney March 20, 2012

This course will consist of seven visits to Sydneys major public and private art galleries. The aim is to investigate the wonderful permanent collections and changing exhibitions which make up the dynamic art scene in Sydney. Included will be favourites such as the Art Gallery of NSW, The MCA at Circular Quay and the S H Ervin Gallery on Observatory Hill. However, there will be some out of the way galleries included. The student will become much more familiar with the great masterpieces held in large collections and at the same time gain an understanding of the dynamic contemporary art scene. The course provides a unique opportunity to come to terms with all forms of art and learn a great deal more about the great city of Sydney. Details of this event may be subject to change.
