The Art Directors Guild To Open Gallery 800 March 15, 2009

The Art Directors Guild & Scenic, Title and Graphic
Artists, IATSE Local 800 (ADG) has acquired rental space for Gallery 800 (formerly the NoHo
Gallery LA) at the Historic Lankershim Arts Center. Gallery 800, located at 5108 Lankershim
Blvd, North Hollywood, will showcase guild members’ personal art in a series of shows
throughout the year, culminating in their yearly exhibition, Art Unites, according to Art Directors
Guild President, Tom Walsh.
The first exhibition, WOMAN! Images and Interpretations, opens Sunday, March 15, in
celebration of Women’s History Month. Over 70 artists from all crafts within Local 800 will
participate in this exhibition. A reception will be held from 5:00pm – 10:00pm, featuring live
music and refreshments. Gallery 800 hours are Thursday through Saturday 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm
