It is a casual, fun, and meaningful afternoon in the park, which has historically had beautiful weather, (but, in the event of rain, those who still want to gather will do so in the rain).
Featured are literature tables, and an open mike. Attendees are encouraged to bring musical instruments, as well as balls, frisbees, and other games to play in the spacious open park setting. Well-behaved dogs on leash are welcome.
While this is a free event, attendees should bring a vegan dish to share, (to serve at least eight), with a card stating the ingredients of the creation, (especially for those with food allergies about which they need to be conscious).
