The Amazing New York Race: Dog Friendly September 12, 2010

NYC dogs and their owners are invited to join the annual Amazing New York Race: Dog Friendly Edition. Follow a race course through Prospect Park while encountering puppy friendly challenges, from an agility tunnel to a team dance contest. A photo scavenger hunt will have you searching for canine clues while you go!

Dogs will be paired into teams of two by a trained behaviorist (Last year’s winners were a beagle and bichon tandem!). At the finish line, an after-party greets the pups with food, drink and “doggie bags” filled with treats for humans and dogs alike. A portion of the day’s proceeds will support City Pitties, a local advocate for abused or abandon pups.
