The Marriott Theatre is proud to present an all new musical version of The All Night Strut. Previews begin November 29th, 2006, press opening is December 6th, and runs through February 11th, 2007. Directed by Marc Robin with musical direction by Doug Peck.

An explosive evening of song and dance, conceived by Marriott Artistic Director, Aaron Thielen, and Award-winning director and choreographer, Marc Robin, The All Night Strut features the talents of 23 dancers and singers, 5 choreographers, and 6 musical arrangers. The All Night Strut is a circus, an American musical, a dance concert, all fused with hip hop, jazz, tap, and swing, bringing you a theatrical event like no other that has ever played on the Marriott stage.

A sizzling revue of hits from the 30s and 40s, told through innovative song and dance, The All Night Strut is directed and choreographed by Marc Robin with specialty choreography by Sasha Vargas (hip-hop, modern); Mark Stuart Eckstein and Beverly Durand (swing); and Sylvia Hernandez-DiStasi of the Actors Gymnasium (aerial). Featuring music from the Great Depression, World War II and the Post-War Boom, legendary songwriters such as Hoagy Carmichael, Duke Ellington, Cab Calloway, and the Gershwins are showcased with new arrangements by Doug Peck, Richard Carsey, Michael Duff, Dr. Ryan Nelson, Dave Siegel, and Michael Carlson. New orchestrations are provided by Dave Siegel.

Designed especially for Marriotts 2006 season, The All Night Strut stars Dara Cameron, Lucy Carapetyan, Beverly Durand, Mark Eckstein, Nicole Famighetti, Nia Gregory, Joe Komara, Ian Liberto, Kristy Luehm, Pia Manalo, Matt Raftery Tommy Rapley, Buddy Reeder, Lisa Rumbauskas, Matt Schwader, Eric Shorey, Allison Stodola, Tucker Ty, Christopher Windom, and featuring Susie McMonagle, Susan Moniz, Stephen Schellhardt, and Jim Weitzer.

Set Design by Tom Ryan; Costume Design by Nancy Missimi; Lighting Design by Diane Williams; Sound Design by Cecil Averrett; and Properties Design is by Greg Isaac. Patti Garwood conducts the Marriott Theatre Orchestra. Assistant choreographer is Buddy Reeder.

The performance schedule for All Night Strut is Wednesdays at 1:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays at 8:00 p.m., Saturdays at 5:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., and Sundays at 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. There will be two additional Tuesday performances on December 19 and 26 at 8:00 p.m. With the purchase of a $45 ticket on Wednesdays and Thursdays, you receive a free dinner. (Based on dining availability). All other performance ticket prices are $42.00, excluding tax and handling fees. A $5.00 discount for students and seniors is valid on Wednesday and Sunday matinee performances. Dinner packages for Friday, Saturday and Sunday performances, for an additional $40.00 per person at Kings Wharf and $30.00 at Fairfield Inn.
