The Albuquerque Jazz Orchestra - Music of Dizzie Gillespie May 30, 2009

On Saturday, May 30, The New Mexico Jazz Workshop presents our Big Band Extravaganza featuring the Albuquerque Jazz Orchestra under the direction of jazz great Bobby Shew. This great band will be featuring the music of Dizzy Gillespie. Also on the bill are the New Mexico Jazz Workshop's Honor Bands made up of some of Albuquerque's finest young jazz musicians. They will be opening the show. Come and hear a great night of big band music!
