Don’t miss the final week of the second series of Cinema Supper Club: The Real Drama Queens at the Legion of Honor. The Thursday evening programs feature fine dining, fine art, and film. This series in the Florence Gould Theater presents a dynamic line-up of films about the dramatic lives of historic queens and personalities. The feature film on February 14 will be The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (1994; 104 min.). The wickedly funny, high-drama trio of drag-queens (Hugo Weaving, Guy Pearce and Terence Stamp) crosses the remote Australian outback to perform at a resort. They head west from Sydney aboard their lavender bus, Priscilla. The special exhibition Marie-Antoinette and the Petit Trianon at Versailles, which closes on February 17, stays open until 9 pm so that visitors can discover the personal style of the legendary French queen through the furniture, sculpture, and art that adorned her private retreat. The Legion Café serves French-inspired cuisine in honor of the exhibition. A sampling of tapas and wine are also available in the Café.

Tickets are $20 ($10 Members) for the movie and special exhibition. For the special exhibition only, admission is $15 (Members are free). Tickets are on a first-come, first-served basis. The first dinner seating is at 6 pm, and dinner pricing is separate. The special exhibition and museum store are open until 9 pm.
