Our final oracular spectacular of 2008 brings another Leeds gang to headline. This time it’s the turn of The Heavens, led by Richard Green (ex-Ultrasound) who along with his band emit first-rate Byrds-ian organ-prog blues. You HAVE to see this band! Support comes from both sides of the capital: from the east come fuzz-glam guitars in a mod-punk style courtesy of The Junior Victors, and from the west ride that exquisite teenage garage-beat trio Speak & The Spells. On DJ duty, and bringing seasonally-good tunes to dance to, it is a welcome return for Glasgow boys December’s Children. Bring some mulled wine if you can!
