The 5th Annual Northern California Career & Leadership Summit May 31, 2008

The 5th Annual Northern California Career & Leadership Summit has been announced by Job Connections, an outreach program of the Community Presbyterian Church. The free event will be held Saturday, May 31, 2008 at the Community Presbyterian Church, Danville, CA from 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. The Career & Leadership Summit provides an amazing opportunity for job seekers and employed professionals to connect with Greater Bay Area hiring companies, network with each other and recruiters, and to grow professionally and personally by adopting leadership, networking and communication strategies from our outstanding speakers.

Delivering on its mission to enrich attendees’ personal and professional lives, Job Connections proudly presents Sheila Murray Bethel, PhD, DPAE. Ms. Bethel has worked on projects with four U.S. Presidents, and Secretary of State Colin L. Powell, and is a best-selling author and authority on leadership. She will be discussing “Leadership That Makes a Difference”, an executive perspective on raising the level of influence while maximizing individual potential. Next, Joe Pelayo, one of the nations’ top 75 Recruiters, will share best practices for “Networking Your Way to Success”. The final speaker, Seattle, WA-based Libby Wagner, MA, a recognized leadership communications expert, will present “Five Strategies for Better Results – Effective Communications in Leadership”.
