The 50th Anniverary screening of "A Call From The Stars" with Special Guest, Marsha Hunt.
Marsha Hunt produced "A Call From The Stars", a one hour television documentary that raised money and awareness for the U.S. Committee for Refugees. Marsha enlisted 14 of her celebrity friends to participate in the special. Among the stars involved in te project are: Paul Newman, Bing Crosby, Joanne Woodward, David Niven, Harry Belafonte and Jean Simmons. The special aired on February 10, 1960, in observance of the United Nations "World Refugee Year."

This evening is a fundraiser to assist filmmakers in the completion of the feature documentary "Marsha Hunt: Sweet Adversity". Selected clips from this film will be shwn.
Refreshments will be available for purchase.

Raffle tickets will be sold for an autographed copy of Marsha "hard-to-find" coffee table book, "The Way We Wore: Styles of the 1930s and '40s and Our World Since Then."
