The 2nd Annual National Youth Law and Juvenile Justice Forum will bring together professionals and representatives from government, social and community organisations working in the area of Juvenile Justice to discuss new approaches and practical solutions in relation to young offenders.

The case studies will highlight how leading organisations from across Australia are providing greater support and assistance to at risk youth groups. Through the forum, attendees will have an opportunity to closely look at some key elements of the juvenile system in Australia, examine the existing systems and consider possible improvements.

Speakers will explore varying approaches to different groups of young offenders and possible solutions for prevention and recidivism. The forum will also look into effective mentoring and support systems and consider different approaches to further improve Juvenile Justice programs. Participants will also explore how partnering between organisations at the government, Non Government Prganisations (NGOs) and community level are critical to success and long term sustainability.
