The prestigious Klein Competition is an exceptional concert experience that mixes the thrill of competition with the bravura of classical music.
On June 13 and 14, eight of the world's most dazzling young cellists, violinists, and violists will compete against each other for cash prizes; solo appearances with symphonies; and recital performances. The Semi-finalists from the U.S., South Korea, China, Canada, and the Bay Area advanced to this stage of the competition ahead of 62 entrants from 9 countries. The remarkable artistry and technical prowess of each musician will be on display at the Klein Competition –widely regarded as one of the leading string competitions in the world.

Semi-finals: Saturday, June 13 (10:00am – 3:00pm), $10 general admission; $5 students/seniors

Final Round: Sunday, June 14 (4:00pm) with an award ceremony immediately after the competition, $20 general admission; $10 students/seniors
