The frequent, moveable party and beatbox showcase -- the Vowel Movement -- becomes a Beatbox Battle this time, with prizes and vocal pyrotechnics that would embarrass the most talented of American Idol contestants. This is the real deal, exploring new territory with beatboxing: the art of using the mouth to create all sorts of music in addition to traditional singing. Kid Beyond again serves as host, whose own approach involves looping himself live onstage, singing, throat singing, beatboxing, scratching and "other voicestumentation."

The Battle features EACHBOX, INFINITE, SOULATI (from hip-hop band Felonious), SYZYGY, CORNBREAD, and exhibitions by Kid Beyond, TIM BARSKY and the VOWEL MOVEMENT ALL-STARS. Cash and gear prizes are offered to placing beatboxers.
