Alex Hutton / James Pearson: Innovative pianist and composer Alex Hutton teams up with acclaimed Tour de Force James Pearson in this unique collaboration to bring you a condensed history of jazz piano from Art Tatum through to Brad Mehldau. Both connoisseurs of jazz history, the pair focus on 8 pioneers from the 1930's to the present day, finding a common thread through this lineage.
This colourful and varying exploration of styles, celebrating 80 years of Jazz piano, is not to be missed.
