The 1st Annual DC Zombie Lurch October 29, 2006

Join us in donning torn up, gore-covered clothes, slapping on a liberal dose of horror-inspired makeup, and lurching through the unsuspecting streets of DC as a mock-horde of the living dead! Bring your friends, family -anyone who might get a kick out of impersonating the undead- and join us for an afternoon of fun as we stalk our nation's capital for brains and zombie rights!

There've been countless other marches, demonstrations and protests in DC, but somehow the "living-impaired" have yet to make their slurring voices heard where the meaty human heads of state might hear best. Let the injustice go no further and shamble up to the bar with us the Sunday before Halloween to show off your zombie pride!

Plus there'll be a pre-Lurch gathering at 3:30; for folks to congregate, get last-minute makeup done, perhaps get a bite and see others' makeup. Need help w/makeup, costuming, or just wanna meet up w/your friends? This is the place to do it before we shamble! :D:D

Moan out loud for zombie rights, stalk the premises with the hopes of consuming the flesh of the living, or just give folks a good giggle n' start while having fun with costumes and makeup. Spoof a B-movie or two, or just pay homage to your favorite genre, author, movie, filmmaker or TV show. Regardless of your impetus, we cordially invok- er.. invite you to the 1st Annual Capital Zombie Lurch, & look forward to seeing your ghoulish face amidst the horde in Washington DC!
