Deep Ellum is the Metroplex's most progressive and eclectic neighborhood. The Deep Ellum Arts Festival exemplifies everything that makes this area rock. The biggest weekend of the year for the Deep Ellum Entertainment District, this free-to-attend outdoor "street party" features four outdoor stages with non-stop performances by over 65 national, regional, and local original bands during this three-day festival. With more than 100 top-notch juried decorative and visual artists, muralist, the renowned pet parade, and abundant food and drink, the Deep Ellum Arts Festival attracts a diverse audience and includes affluent art and music enthusiasts. This is an adult-oriented festival -- there is no "kid" stuff.

Admittance to the three-day festival is free.

Located in Dallas' Deep Ellum Entertainment District on Main Street between Good Latimer and Hall St.

Over 100 fine cutting edge juried artists displaying and selling original works.

More than 65 original bands and singer/songwriters will perform from four separate outdoor entertainment stages, keeping pace reflecting Deep Ellum's exploding new music scene. All stages will be rocking simultaneously with an eclectic mix of genres, including Dallas' favorite fusion rock, southern soul, and "genre-breaking" bands. This year's headliners include The Hourly Radio, Strangelove, Joint Method, Big Red Rooster, Spoonfed Tribe, Forever The Sickest Kids, Blunt Force Crew, Kristen Mari, Dura Hale, Egress, Nev.r.land, Odis, Jones, and Shock of Pleasure, along with appearances by Sean Michel from American Idol and Rupert from Survivor.

The Stampede Light Singer/Songwriter Stage features local songwriters performing their own original live music, hosted by Lori Dreir A Girl & A Guitar and Sound FX Entertainment
The beverage pavilion offers a restricted lounge area adjacent to the main stage.

Petropolitan Pooch Parade Hundreds of pet owners are invited to take their "Best Friends" on a tail-wagging promenade down Main Street, starting Saturday at 12:00 noon at bark park. Click Here for more info
Hand-Blown Glass Demonstrations and Glass Art Exhibit - Set April 7 at Deep Ellum's Firehaus Gallery
Visit The Artist's Underground, a melting pot of original and unsigned Texas artists. This unique area will host face painters, clothing design, acoustic acts, spoken word, poetry, book signings by Rupert (competitor in Survivor All-Stars and Pearl Islands), and myriads of original art pieces.

Visit the Kettle Art pavilion in the Home Concepts parking lot and see why they are considered Deep Ellum's leader in contemporary art. Kettle Art is a proud member of the Dallas Art Dealers Association and was recently voted 'best art gallery' by readers of the Dallas Observer.

While at the festival, bee sure to check out Burt's Bees 2nd annual Bee-utify Your World Mobile Tour, a FREE educational and interactive experience held in a one-of-a-kind multi-room "hive" where you can see, touch and learn about specific natural ingredients and the advantages over chemical, man-made alternatives – and grab free samples!

Festive cuisine, including Mexican, Caribbean, Mediterranean, Asian and other festival favorites will be available, plus beer, wine, and sodas. In support of festival vendors, no coolers please
