The 10th Annual Swedish Midsummer Party June 22, 2012

For the 10th year in a row, event organizers ISwede, Nordic Nights and Mania Events gathers the young Scandinavian community in New York for a great, big party at Club Crimson in the heart of Manhattan’s Flatiron District.

Midsummer is an old Viking fertility festival celebrated through out northern Europe and the biggest national holiday in Scandinavia. The day is filled with age-old traditions. Women dress in white dresses and wear flower wreaths in their hair. In the evening the young and unattached party the night away until the we hours of the morning. Come experience the biggest Swedish Midsummer's Eve party in USA and maybe the world.

Two ballrooms and 6 Scandinavian DJs alternating through-out the night, playing anything from Scandinavian contemporary music to NYC Club hits, a live performance by Freestyle's Christer Sandelin and hundreds of happy Scandinavians on the dance floor.
