Thanksgiving Feast at SHOR November 27, 2008

Chicago, IL- Shor, the elegant new restaurant at Hyatt Regency McCormick Place, 2233 S. Martin Luther King Drive, will feature a delectable Thanksgiving feast for the whole family from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 27. The menu will feature a Salad Bar, several gourmet Entrée choices, fresh fruits, homemade Pastries and a sumptuous Dessert Bar. The Thanksgiving feast will offer a Salad Bar where guests will be able to indulge in Roasted Pear and Blue Cheese Salad; Tomato Caprese with Olives, Basil, Balsamic and Extra Virgin Olive Oil; Salad Nicoise with Marinated Seafood; Wild Rice Salad with Roasted Mushrooms and Artichokes; Fresh Fruit Salad; Pasta Selections; and Meats, Cheese and Marinated Vegetables.

Guests will be able to choose from one of the following a la carte gourmet entrees: Split Roast Chicken with Lemon Thyme Jus; Seared Pork Loin over Braised Cabbage, served with fresh Apple Sauce; Horseradish Potato Crusted Sturgeon with Chive Beurre Blanc; Glazed Sliced Ham with Corn Pudding; and Roasted Turkey with Stuffing and Cranberry Relish. All entrees will come with Mashed and Sweet Potatoes, Acorn Squash, Haricot Verts, Carrots, Squash, Corn and Gravy. Freshly baked Breads and Biscuits will be served.

For dessert, there will be a Cheesecake Bar with condiments and a tempting array of seasonal Pies. Decadent Cookies, Brownies, Pudding and Cobbler will also be available.

The Thanksgiving feast is $29.50 per adult, $15 for children ages 5-12, and free for children ages four and under. Complimentary self-parking is available to diners and valet parking will also be available at a reduced rate. For reservations call 312.528.4140.
Shor, a Chicago Grill, offers diverse lunch and dinner menus, which both build on and depart from traditional grill standards.
