"Amy Sedaris, assisted by her friend, writer and actor David Rakoff, show you how to host an unforgettable fête with flair that will have your guests raving. Using the sensible and wildly offbeat ideas from her new book I LIKE YOU: Hospitality Under the Influence, “her advice is both practical and hilarious” (Publisher’s Weekly). Every audience member will receive a free cupcake made from Amy’s famous recipe.

Along with her brother, author and essayist David Sedaris, Amy has co-authored several plays, some of which include Stump the Host (1993), Stitches (1994), One Woman Shoe (1995), Incident at Cobbler’s Knob (1997) and The Little Frieda Mysteries (1997). She also co-created and starred in the Comedy Central show Strangers with Candy, which was recently adapted for film.

David Rakoff has written for New York Times Magazine, Outside, GQ, Vogue and Salon. Having directed and acted in several of the Sedaris siblings’ plays, Rakoff has also been a frequent contributor to the radio program This American Life on Public Radio International."
