The Capitol City Rodeo offers two full days of fun and rodeo action. Proceeds benefit local charitable organizations such as the Breast Cancer Resource Center, AIDS Services of Austin and Project Transitions.

In addition to Bull Riding, Barrel Racing, and Team Roping, entertainment events such as Goat Dressing, Steer Decorating and Wild Drag Racing may not be your normal rodeo events, but will definitely provide lots of fun and laughter for this 24th anniversary Texas celebration.

Sunday’s Calf Scramble, open to rodeo volunteers and the public only, offers the chance to win $25,000. Just capture a calf’s number and if it matches the number drawn, that lucky participant gets to draw for the money. $10 entry fee. Complete rules and information available at registration or the rodeo grounds.

Admission is $15 each day. Events start at 8 am.
