In the midst of a bona fide revival, the Tex-Mex supergroup Texas Tornados lives on with originals Augie Meyers and Flaco Jimenez, and the spirits of the late Freddy Fender and Doug Sahm presiding. On tour and on their new album 'Esta Bueno!,' which came out earlier this year, Shawn Sahm steps to the front and "pulls off his dad's old tricks with a few of his own" (Austin Chronicle).
