The Texas Paranormal Research Paranormal 101 Event is hosted by Texas Paranormal Research, Ghost Chatter Radio, and Para Investigators Radio.This will be a two day paranormal101 eventand hands on investigation at Fort Mckavett, near San Angelo, Texas. Do not go forward thinking this is your average paranormal conference. This is just not true. The TPR Paranormal 101 event is like no other. First you will travel to the center of the beautiful Hill Country in Central Texas. Once you arrive, check in, and get situated in the sleeping barracks, you will be treated to an evening meal prepared camp style. Then you will get your team assignments and will begin an all night investigation in one of 17 historic buildings on the 1850's frontier Army Fort. After a night of real time investigating in teams of 6 to 8 people you will retire for rest. Keep in mind you will be sleeping bunk style just like the calvary did in the same rooms they slept in. Almost all of these buildings have paranormal activity that occurs regularly in them and our Team have captured loads of evidence including photos, evp's and thermal imaging data.
In the morning you will be treated to breakfast then its off for a day of paranormal instruction, not lecturing, ok, maybe a little lecturing, but that will be leading into the instruction phase. You will be given historic tours of the fort during the day Saturday and will gain knowledge in the location, types of activity to look for, locations, and you will be trained on how to capture EVP, how to take good photographs, how to analyze them, proper ways to set up video recording systems, and how to use new technology such as the Mel Meter, K2 Meter, and Thermal Imaging Cameras. You will be served a snack lunch along with an evening meal. After the evening meal you once again set out in your teams to investigate the fort a 2nd night only this time, it is you, the guests who will be in charge of your teams and conducting your own investigations using the techniques you learned at the courses. The original team leaders will be there only as observers and to answer questions you may have of them.
We will also be rotating thermal imaging cameras through the teams during the night to give everyone a chance to use these in action. Sunday morning you will be supplied with a quick breakfast before departing the fort. Your admission price includes the meals specified, the sleeping accomodations, and a Paranormal 101 Event T Shirt.
Please remember that this is an 1850's fort in the middle of the Hill Country. You will be sleeping on cots set up in the actual buildings that are deemed haunted. There are a limited number of more private rooms available for an additional charge. THESE ARE NOT HOTEL TYPE ROOMS BY ANY MEANS. PICTURES WILL BE SUPPLIED. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS REGARDING ROOMS AND SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS ASK FIRST. TICKETS ARE NON REFUNDABLE IF YOU DECIDE YOU DO NOT LIKE THE ACCOMODATIONS THERE. THIS IS A FULL ON INSTRUCTIONAL EVENT WITH FULL ON PARANORMAL INVESTIGATING IN A FRONTIER FORT DEEP IN THE HEART OF TEXAS.
