Texas Mike Stewart and his band Tumbleweed Cartel play regularly at Maloe Melo.....one set this month is featuring guest vocalista Sophie Zeyl. Sophie has a beautiful voice and will be singing rock covers with the band.....done in fun and probably very irreverantly!!! As always the Tumbleweed Cartel shows focus on good songs from good writers....some songs we have written and some are penned by brilliant writers we personally know and admire, such as Jon Dee Graham; Kevin Russell (the Gourds); Javier Escovedo (the Zeros, the True Believers); Eric Amble and Dan Baird (Georgia Sattellites, the Yayhoos, Steve Earle) and more...... we have a lot of fun...it is acoustic, electric, guitars and cry softly and twang bluntly; cardboard box drums; who knows what will happen next?.......Yes, it is country and rock and folk and, whatever!.....Please come see! The music is from 22:00 to 02:00......MIke is a producer from Austin, Texas, living and working in Amsterdam. He has worked with the following Nederlands artists.
