Texas Filmmakers' Production Fund Workshop Tour April 21, 2008

The Austin Film Society's (AFS) Director of Artist Services BRYAN POYSER will present free informational workshops about AFS's Texas Filmmakers' Production Fund (TFPF), which annually offers grants of up to $25,000 to Texas filmmakers. He will take participants through the application form step-by-step and screen work samples from successful applications. Filmmakers residing in Texas for at least one year prior to the June 2, 2008 deadline are eligible to apply to TFPF, which has given out over $830,000 in cash, goods and services to Texas filmmakers since 1996.

The workshop tour is as follows and is subject to additions and/or changes:

April 3 - Houston (at Aurora Picture Show)
April 5 - Houston (at Rice Media Center with SWAMP)
April 10 - Denton
April 14 - Dallas
April 18 - San Antonio
April 21 - Austin
May 3 - Marfa (at Marfa Film Festival)
May 8 - Austin
May 15 - McAllen
