ABOUT TEST PRESS:
Who can you expect to meet at these events? Artists, DJ's, producers, designers, radio programmers, press/media, record label reps, record store owners, club owners, promoters and Recording Academy members and governors.
Each month features a different label, retail or press sponsor showcasing their hottest new releases and DJ's. Past Hosts have included: Ingrooves, Om Records, Pyramind, Zen City, XLR8R, Soulmine Records and Remix Magazine.
Plus, anyone can submit a track (so long as they are present) to be reviewed and entered in the contest.
The review panels present live on the spot feedback and commentaries from industry veterans with Q & A and a scoring system to provide participants with the results of who the finalists are by the end of the evening. The top three tracks at each event will go into a pool of finalists. Reviews are on a first posted, first reviewed basis. No more than six to eight songs will be reviewed (time permitting) at each event. Please: No more than one submission per artist, per event. If your track doesn't make the cut-off then it will be re-queued for the following month.
After twelve TPT events the finalists will be voted on to determine the final selections for the first TPT CD!
All reviews will take place between 8PM & 9PM the evening of each TPT event. All artists and producers wanting to have their tracks considered must pre-submit them a minimum of one day prior to the event by using the web uploader at http://www.pyramind.com/tpt
NEW RULE: DO TO THE LARGE VOLUME OF SUBMISSIONS, YOU MUST BE PRESENT AT THE EVENT IN ORDER TO HAVE YOUR TRACK CONSIDERED. YOUR TRACK WILL NOT BE REVIEWED IF YOU ARE NOT THERE TO HEAR THE FEEDBACK. ONLY TRACKS THAT ARE REVIEWED WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR INCLUSION ON THE COMPILATION CD.
