Pop metal band Tesla will perform at The Centre on Sunday, October 25 at 7:30 p.m.

Tesla was formed in Sacramento, California, 1985. A record deal in 1986 spawned the release of Mechanical Resonance, which produced the top 40 hit 'Modern Day Cowboy.' The band's follow-up, The Great Radio Controversy, broke the band nationally with the first hit single 'Heaven's Trail (No Way Out).' The release's second single, 'Love Song,' hit the top 10 and pushed the album into the top 20 and double-platinum status.

Tesla's 1990 album, Five Man Acoustical Jam, included acoustic versions of their best-known concert songs and a few favorite covers including classics by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and Creedence Clearwater Revival. The platinum album's single 'Signs' became the band's highest charting single and directly inspired MTV's Unplugged series.

The group's next platinum hit, Psychotic Supper (1991), included the popular singles 'Edison's Medicine,' 'Call It What You Want,' 'What You Give' and 'Song and Emotion.'

Tesla broke up following 1994's Bust A Nut release, but subsequently staged a reunion in 2000 resulting in the two-disc live album, Replugged Live (2001), which documented their reunion tour. The album reached number 21 on the Top Internet Album chart. Their latest album, Forever More (2008), reached number 33 on Billboard's 200 Top-Selling Albums chart.

Tesla's lineup features Jeff Keith (vocals), Frank Hannon (guitar), Dave Rude (guitar), Brian Wheat (bass) and Troy Luccketta (drums).
