Terence Lewis Dance Foundation Scholarship Trust (TLDFS) April 10, 2009

Give back what you receive. With this mantra, Terence Lewis launched a special scholarship programme in the year 2005 -the TLDFST. A 3-year, fully funded dance scholarship offered to young Indian talent, with the goal of bringing dignity back to dance and providing dance as a serious career option, it has grown from 10 students to a strength of 45. With an in-house faculty of international repute, a structured syllabus blending Indian and western disciplines, with theory and practical examinations, the TLDFST now awaits foreign affiliations. The TLDFST Advisory Panel constituted in October 2007, comprises doctors, theatre personalities, psychologists and media celebrities. This Panel was formed to nurture the young talent of the TLDFST. Apart from quality dance education, emphasis is laid on diversity of thought, culture and lifestyle, to truly - Live in Dance.
