Say farewell to those scorching summer days with a tribute to this season’s most popular spirit - Tequila! El Santo Cantina + Patio Bar + Restaurant, Scottsdale’s hottest new hangout is ending the summer with a night of Tequila and Tastes.

Starting at 7pm on Thursday, August 23rd, guests will enjoy 4 tasting plates of El Santo’s Baja inspired cuisine thoughtfully paired with 3 of El Santo’s specialty tequila cocktails plus dessert.

“Fine Tequila always complements great southwestern flavors,” said Exec. Chef Tim Fields. “And with the dishes we’ve chosen for this tasting, guests will taste how the bold favors of our Baja inspired cuisine really stand up to the tequila.”

Chilled Seafood Ceviche
Tomato, avocado, red onion and tortilla chips
La Vida Margarita
Milagro Blanco, muddled cucumber, mint and fresh lime juice

pulled pork, braised pork belly, Black Beans, and agave nectar
Cadillac Margarita
1800 reposado, bauchant, agave syrup and fresh lime juice

Chiiquita Shrimp Chimichanga
Guacamole, Pico de Gallo and roasted Garlic Crema
Aqua Roja
Maestro Dobel Tequila, Cointreau and fresh raspberries for a refreshing twist.

El Santo is the newest concept by Old Town Group that brought the Valley Stingray Sushi, Geisha A Go Go and Spanish Fly Mexican Beach Club. A fiery combination of Cantina + Patio Bar + Restaurant, El Santo is approximately 23,000 square feet and built around a Mexican resort style pool and features Private Villas, VIP Casitas, Palapa Grande Bar and a beautiful flowing waterfall.

The new restaurant features a Baja style menu prepared by Executive Chef Tim Fields, formerly of Chelsea’s Kitchen and combines spicy Mexican flavors in both cuisine and cocktails.
