Tennessee Virtual Academy - Knoxville Meet & Greet October 26, 2012

Connect with your local school community, teachers and other families at Metcalf Bottoms in the Smokies!

This is a great opportunity to meet other families at TNVA. You'll be able to meet TNVA teachers or staff for a brief overview of our program, meet other TNVA families, and ask any questions about enrolling in our school. TNVA K-8 staff will be on hand to answer your questions!

Cost: Free (Appropriate Grades: Middle School & Permission Slip)

We will hike from the picnic area to the Greenbrier school house and then to the Walker Sisters cabin. We will identify lichen species, learn about Appalachian literature and discuss the history of the area. This is a moderate hike.
