Teitur toured the USA and Canada extensively, initially working the East coast, then slowly building audiences all over North America, performed on chat shows, live radio sessions, was featured on MTV's You hear It First, VH1 and CNN, watched as his songs got snapped up for film soundtracks (My Super Ex-Girlfriend and Aquamarine), and attracted the attention of respected singer-songwriters like Rufus Wainwright, Aimee Mann and John Mayer, all of whom took him on tour.
