Michael Garland of NVIDIA is presenting “Parallel GPU Computing With CUDA” from 1:30 — 4:00 PM on April 18, 2008, during the Tech Café on GPU Supercomputing.
An innovative use of parallel computing on the GPU is building low-cost, powerful supercomputers. Current and potential uses of manycore GPU-based supercomputers include medical imaging, post-production film and video editing, thermonuclear fusion reactor modeling, artificial intelligence, astrophysics, molecular dynamics, gene sequence alignment/matching and other biomedical research.
