Teas and Tours February 12, 2009

Take your loved one, best friend or parent on a unique pre-Valentine's Day date - Teas & Tours at Montalvo's historic Villa.

This event is hosted by the Montalvo Service Group, known for their popular Yuletide celebrations. MSG's mission is to raise money to preserve and restore the historic Villa at Montalvo Arts Center.

First the tea....3:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Enjoy an old-fashioned high tea with your friends in the main hall of historic Villa - where so many teas and parties have taken place in the past. Sandwiches and scones will also be served.

Then the tour...4:00 - 5:00 p.m.

Curious about the history behind the historic Villa at Montalvo? Join us for an hour-long tour of the lower level lead by one of Montalvo's knowledgeable docents, trained by the MSG. During the tour, you will learn about the Villa’s history from its creation by Senator Phelan, through its heyday in the 1920s, to its current role as an arts center.

This event also occurs on Feb. 12 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
