‘Team in Training’ hosts BYOB: “Buy Your Own Bachelor” Auction

Profits to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

Phoenix, Ariz. -- Every five minutes, someone in the United States learns they have leukemia, lymphoma, or myeloma. And every ten minutes, a child or adult dies from one of these diseases.

While more and more people are becoming survivors of these deadly diseases, there is still no cure. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is dedicated to change that.

Over the past 20 years, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training (TNT) has grown to become an unparalleled sports training and fundraising program.

Not only do TNT members train for marathons, half-marathons, triathlons, 100-mile century bike rides and hiking adventures, they also raise funds to help find a cure for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

A section of TNT Phoenix Chapter is holding a bachelor auction at the trendiest night club in Scottsdale, AXIS RADIUS, on Thursday, Aug. 20, 2009. The “BYOB: Buy Your Own Bachelor” event begins at 7 p.m. with doors opening at 6:45 p.m.
