One-off headline show from the new band formed by M83 co-founder Nicolas Fromageau. They take the M83 blueprint of electronica, shoegaze and cinematic, Eno-esque soundscapes and add krautrock rhythms, the sleazy Suicide-like post-punk of JJ Burnel’s ‘Euroman Cometh’ and the stark synth-pop of the French coldwave. They are currently supporting Crystal Castles and HEALTH and their new EP, ‘Celebrate What You Can’t See’, is out via Sonic Cathedral Recordings on October 11.
English/Canadian duo Jonny Martin and Elsie Martins create music as mysterious as their name. Their incredible debut album ‘Smoke & Mirrors’ mines the darker seams of post-punk and adds layers of noise and found sounds.
Andrew Goldspink’s soundscapes have seen him labelled as one of the prime UK exponents of chillwave, but tracks such as ‘Soaked’ are more like a lo-fi ‘Loveless’. This is his second ever live show.
