Teaching From His Holiness, the Dalai Lama July 19, 2008

His Holiness the Dalai Lama is an internationally acclaimed, immensely revered and beloved figure, whose lifetime mission has been to make this world a better place through his message of religious harmony, and the development of kindness and compassion. The Tibetan community in the Americas earnestly requested His Holiness to confer a special teaching and accept a long life prayer offering (Tenshug in Tibetan). His Holiness has very kindly granted those prayers; and it was determined that this special ceremony would be combined with the teaching program requested by Deer Park Buddhist Center. Therefore the tenshug and teaching will be jointly organized by NATA and Deer Park Buddhist Center. Tibetan texts and oral translation will be available in English, Chinese and Spanish.
