Tea Tastes February 1, 2009

Immerse yourself in the Japanese philosophy, culture, and tradition of tea. This workshop begins with a talk on 'The Book of Tea,' followed by time for questions and answers and a demonstration of the tea ceremony in Sunkaraku, the Museum's Japanese teahouse. The afternoon concludes with a cup of tea and a close-up look at tea bowls and implements from the Museum's collections.
