HandReach is holding its first annual Tea Auction in November at Teaism at the Penn Quarter location in Washington DC. The Tea Auction will feature competition-grade teas from the most renowned tea-producing regions of the world, along with exquisite hand-crafted art, pottery, and other items of unique historic value. Auction supporters can participate by coming to the tea-tasting event and program in November, and/or participating in the on-line auction, slated to go live in late October 2009 (will last for two weeks prior to the event itself). This Tea Auction will bring together professionals, philanthropists, diplomats, scholars, activists, and tea lovers from all over the world.
