Teen country star Taylor Swift will headline the Target Center Oct. 11, with support from 'American Idol' vet Kellie Pickler and newcomers Gloriana. Tickets for the show are $49.50-$20 and go on sale at 10 a.m. today through Ticketmaster.

In other concert news, the Pretenders' Wednesday show at the Orpheum Theatre with Cat Power and Juliette Lewis has moved to First Avenue. (The change was announced after today's Weekend Life section went to press.)

Also, legendary producer/ performer Brian Eno — who has worked with bands including U2, the Talking Heads and David Bowie — will sit down with trumpeter/ composer Jon Hassell for a conversation Sept. 22 at the Walker Art Center.
