If Jason Lewis has such a problem with Minnesota's taxes, why doesn't he go back to North Carolina? Why did he move back to Minnesota anyway? In fact, why did he move to Minnesota in the first place? Was it because of the embarrassment of his failed congressional campaign in Colorado, where he got pounded by a Democrat? We're tired of Jason Lewis's whining. One look at his dwindling ratings tells you a lot of people are.

ROTTER

Yes, imagine someone moving from one area of our country to another! The gall of it. Next thing we'll have people from Somalia or Mexico moving here and asking for jobs or griping about the jobs they have or letting dogs in their taxiis.

PheistyChick

BM,

Because Jason Lewis knows that others in Minnesota are fed-up with the over-taxation, as well, but they don't have the voice or audience that he does.

Jason Lewis doesn't 'whine', he roars, and you socialist liberals had best hide your excessive government entitlements, because the people who pay the taxes are on the march.

Rotter, loved the comment. Check out my shirts for the Tax Cut Rally: http//printfection.com/the-conservative-protester

Devorah

Devorah says: Apparently there are those Minnesotans who are clueless! They spew off their opinions without researching the facts. Typical! Do you know how much you pay for state and federal taxes? Do you know where your taxes go? Once again, big mouths have nothing in their mouths except for crap. Truth does matter!

I agree 100% with rallying to support reduced taxes. However, we spend too much time talking about taxes, and not enough about goverrnment spending. We need to highlight the enormous increase in state spending over the past 15-20 years, showing it has increased much faster than inflation and population. We need to not only reduce the rate of spending increases, but also DECREASE spending - otherwise there is constant pressure to keep increasing taxes.

Have you ever looked at your pay stub for work? I figured out that the government takes out enough taxes where it takes me 2 days of working to pay them every two weeks! That's a little excessive don't you think especially since the money doesn't go to good use! That doesn't count the money I spend for property taxes that continue to rise and now I heard they liberals want to tax food and clothing. That's the only thing MN doesn't tax so far! As far as cutting government spending, lets do it! I am sick of welfare and all those that abuse it in this state! Let's start cutting there!

Hey Bachmannmonitor, if you don't have as big of a problem with continuously increasing taxes why don't you move to Europe!
They are nearly 20 years ahead of us on that. You would be very content there. Stop trying to raise our taxes here, we don't want to pay them.
