The Department of Theatre and Dance at the University at Buffalo will present Naomi Iizuka's surrealist serio-comedy, 'Tattoo Girl,' directed by Sarah Bay-Cheng. What happens when a woman decides to leave everything she knows to become Romanian gymnast Nadia Comaneci? What will her husband find when he follows an erroneous map in search of a tattoo girl from a magazine? Based on the wacky short story 'Perpetua' by Donald Barthelme, 'Tattoo Girl' follows the hopes, dreams, and disappointments of ordinary people as they follow extraordinary paths from their living rooms to revolution and back.
