Why not join us for dinner?

Sophisticated Dining Experience, Kate Wiggs
This intervention work will be integrated into the Tasty dining experience, involving itself intimately in the diner's personal space, rather than providing the usual gap between artwork and audience. Playing with the idea of a high-pressured dining experience, and wondering aloud why anyone would enter into this most complicated social interaction, beset with complex etiquette and rules, all in the name of relaxed informality. www.katewiggs.co.uk
Native Birds, Devised and performed by Katherina Radeva

Based loosely on the story of the five Bulgarian medics who were wrongly imprisoned in Libya from 1999-2007 for allegedly infecting children with HIV, and the personal journey of a young Eastern European woman living in the west. Native Birds uses elements of Bulgarian folklore through simple actions, text and video in a space filled with a thousand origami birds to examine what it is to be free.

Native Birds was created in part at The Watermill, a laboratory for performance 2009.
Katherina Radeva is an Artsadmin Bursary Artist 2006. www.katerinaradeva.co.uk
