Taste of Little Italy May 27, 2009

Taste of Little Italy launched as a huge success last year and is back this Spring with expectations for another sell-out event known for a fabulous opportunity to sample all of Little Italy’s restaurant delights! With the purchase of their ticket, visitors to Taste of Little Italy will receive a ‘passport’ that will be stamped by each restaurant in exchange for a taste of their featured menu item. Appetizers, desserts and specialty beverages will be offered as visitors stroll through the district with entertainment provided by local band performers in the heart of town – at the famous Piazza Basilone.

Restaurants participating in Taste of Little Italy include a range of top-notch eateries such as Anthology, Buon Appetito, Caffe Italia, Filippi’s Pizza Grotto, Illume Bistro, Indigo Grill, Just Burgers and Lounge, Mimmo’s Italian Village, Pappalecco, Petrini’s, and Zia’s Bistro among others.

*Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Little Italy Association, which is dedicated to the ongoing improvement and enhancement of the Little Italy neighborhood.
