The Cabiri's brand new epic production, based on tales from HIttite mythology, debuts Friday, April 6th and runs for two weekends. Through the spectacle of aerial acrobatics, the Cabiri present an ancient Hittite spring festival performance. A mythological exploration of the rites of kingship, the tale follows the storm lord Tarhun, the solar goddess Arinna, and the huntress Inara as they fight to save humanity from the black magic of the elder god Kumarbi and a host of primeval monsters. Music composed by Stuart Dahlquist (Asva), with choreography by Sam Alvarez (Cavalia, Cirque du Soliel), Nathan Dryden, Erin Simons and the troupe.
