Bhangra Empire
Come to the Bhangra Dance Party! Bhangra Empire is a Bay Area dance team that does “bhangra,” a folk dance from the Punjab region of India and Pakistan. Bhangra Empire has taken this traditional dance form, and has made it contemporary by fusing very high energy and exciting elements. In 2009, the team was invited to perform for President Barack Obama’s First State Dinner. In 2010, Bhangra Empire was named one of America’s foremost up-and-coming talents by Michelle Obama and was photographed for Harper’s Bazaar magazine. The team was also featured in Season 5 of America’s Got Talent, and has competed & placed in countless bhangra competitions across North America! Watch Bhangra Empire perform an exciting bhangra routine, and then learn some fun dance moves to some great bhangra beats!

California Kung Fu and Tai Chi Institute promotes both the physical and spiritual growth in our students by teaching both the external and internal martial arts styles. Our ultimate goal is to enhance a student's life through the understanding and application of the values and discipline taught in the Chinese Martial Art styles, traditions and culture.

San Mateo County History Museum Victorian Days
Celebrate San Mateo County during their annual festival with a stroll down History Lane, crafts from yesteryear and deciding whether local millionaires were Victorian Villains. Make your own flags, rag dolls, boat models, masks, stained glass "windows," and more to take home. Explore the museum and try the scavenger hunt. Costumes from the Victorian era encouraged.

Krystle’s Tahitian Dance
A Tahitian Dance Group based out of Redwood City who will be performing 3 types of dances, an Aparima which is an upbeat dance that tells a story, an Ahuroa which is a slower moving, graceful dance similar to Hawaiian Hula dancing and an Otea which is a fast moving, hip shaking dance to live drums. At the end of the performance, there will be the opportunity for the audience to participate in learning the Tahitian Dance with one of the dancers on stage.
