Target Family Days - Asian Theme July 11, 2010

Target Family Days will transform Theatre Way, near the corner of Broadway and Middlefield Road, into a walkable assortment of themed family entertainment this summer. Featuring Cultural Food, themed face painting, hands-on Art Projects, cooking demonstrations, bounce houses and more, there will be something for everyone on three Sundays from July through September. Plus, the street will be closed to through traffic, making a stroll along beautiful Theatre Way a fun and relaxing family experience.

Fei Tian Dance Academy
Fei Tian Academy of the Arts is a natural expansion of the Fei Tian Dance School, a nonprofit organization created by Falun Dafa practitioners in 2006 that sought to preserve, promote, and develop traditional Chinese dance and arts through classes and performances. Fei Tian strives to rediscover China’s traditional arts—musical, performing, and dance—and share these with a broader audience. Along with the Target Family Days, other exciting FREE events include: Dancing on the Square on Tuesdays, Movies on the Square on Thursdays, Music on the Square on Fridays, and Jazz on Main on Mondays. Other ongoing events in the coming months include seven special outdoor exhibits featuring Art on the Square, Monday and Wednesday afternoon performances with Lunchtime on the Square, as well as weekend Classical concerts and Cultural Events.
